What Biji never uploads

• Your prompts and AI responses
• Your source code and file contents
• File paths and project names
• Session contents and conversation text

Biji reads a limited set of known local activity sources in read-only mode to calculate token totals. It does not need repository access.

What can be synced

Biji can sync daily aggregate token counters to combine activity across your own devices and power an optional public profile or website widget. Those aggregates describe how many tokens were recorded by day and source; they do not include the content of the work.

Public sharing is optional and can be paused or resumed. The website widget reads aggregate activity only.

Sign-in and GitHub

Biji uses GitHub identity through Auth0 to associate devices with your account. It requests profile identity, not access to your repositories. Authentication refresh tokens are encrypted using the operating system's secure storage.

Activity history

Each device resubmits a rolling activity window so your aggregate history can stay current. Account-owned daily aggregates are retained to provide long-term views, while public widgets use the recent portion of that history.

If you do not enable public sharing, your activity is not published as a public profile.

The plain-language rule

Biji counts the steps; it does not collect the substance of those steps. If a feature ever changes that boundary, this page and the product should explain it before you opt in.
